Intended for foster parents in the State of Iowa who seek continuing education hours (CEUs) to renew their foster care license. This workshop is approved by Iowa Health & Human Services for three group foster parent credit continuing education (CEU) hours.

About the event
This training has a NO REFUND policy. In the case of class cancellation (e.g., inclement weather or low attendance) your registration fee will be refunded.
Foster and adoptive parents will have the chance to learn healthy responses to stressful situations, engage with horses to enhance self-awareness and regulation, and build meaningful connections with other foster parents.
This training will take place outdoors and in a barn setting. Please plan accordingly.
*This training is for adult ticket holders only. We respectfully request no children, other family members or pets on the property (e.g., waiting in the car, sitting in the shade, etc).
*Participants must wear sturdy close-toed shoes to interact with horses.
*Suggested items to bring include: sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, easy snack and an open mind. 🙂
